Garmin App Code Points to a Cirqa Smart Band Pro
Garmin has been rumoured to enter the smart ring market with a Cirqa device. A new report now suggests another Cirqa product may be in development. Clues in the latest Garmin Connect app point to a Cirqa smart band. The software mentions two physical buttons, alarms, and audio feedback. Those details hint at a more interactive wearable than Garmin’s current screen-less bands.
Gadgets and Wearables says the Cirqa Smart Band Pro name appears in the latest Garmin Connect app. One reference sits under a resource called device_tutorial_alarms_message_1. That text says users can set alarms on the Cirqa Smart Band Pro through Garmin Connect. The same product name reportedly appears in app versions 5.28.1 and 5.29.
Other tutorial text describes how an alarm would work. The purported band is said to vibrate when the alarm starts. Pressing either button could snooze it. Holding either button may stop it.
That wording differs from today’s Cirqa Smart Band. The current band has one button. Users start activities by tapping that single control.
The tutorials also mention an activity button and a separate controls button. The activity button could start, pause, and stop an activity. The controls button could open another menu and play daily statistics.
App code is also said to mention volume. According to the tutorial text, the activity button may raise volume. The controls button may lower it. Another instruction tells users to wait for the volume level to be confirmed. That suggests some form of audio feedback.
An assistance tutorial reportedly says holding the controls button can trigger help. A separate line says the request can be cancelled by holding either button until a “Canceled” confirmation is heard.
Garmin has not confirmed the Cirqa Smart Band Pro. The app strings only indicate that the company may be testing a two-button band with alarms and audio cues. Official specifications should follow if Garmin announces the device.
