Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Appears on Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
Xiaomi launched the Pad 9 Pro Max earlier this month. That model uses the company’s Xring O3 flagship processor and a 13.3-inch 3.4K display. The standard Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro now appears closer to launch.
A Xiaomi device with model number 2612CRPFFC has shown up on Geekbench. The listing points to Qualcomm’s SM8845P chipset. Reports link that chip to the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Two cores run at 3.80GHz. Six other cores run at 3.32GHz.
The purported Pad 9 Pro scored 2,075 points in the Geekbench 7.0.0 single-core test. It scored 8,750 points in the multi-core test. The listing shows 11.18GB of RAM. That figure suggests a 12GB RAM unit. The tablet also appears to run Android 17.
Xiaomi has not confirmed a launch date. Still, the benchmark listing suggests a China debut may come soon. The tablet has already appeared on certification platforms such as IMDA, EEC, and the UAE’s TDRA.
An earlier leak from tipster Digital Chat Station also pointed to a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Separate rumours mention an 11,000mAh battery and 67W charging. Those details remain unofficial.
By comparison, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max already has official specs in China. It starts at CNY 4,799, or about Rs. 67,700, for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It uses a 13.3-inch 3.4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The software is HyperOS 4.
The Pro Max also carries a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. Its battery is rated at 12,000mAh. Charging support is listed at 120W.
Final Pad 9 Pro specifications should arrive with Xiaomi’s official announcement. Until then, the Geekbench listing is the clearest public look at its processor, memory, and software.
