Oppo Raises Prices of Popular Mid-Range Smartphones in India
Oppo has quietly increased the prices of several mid-range smartphones in India. The company revised the prices of the Oppo K14, Oppo K14x, and Oppo A6s models. All variants of these phones now cost more, with hikes reaching up to Rs. 4,000.
New Prices for Oppo K14
The Oppo K14 now starts at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version, up from its original launch price of Rs. 19,999.
The 6GB + 256GB model now sells for Rs. 24,999 instead of Rs. 21,999. Meanwhile, the top 8GB + 256GB variant has jumped to Rs. 27,999 from Rs. 23,999.
Oppo K14x Also Gets Pricier
Oppo applied a Rs. 1,000 increase across all K14x variants. The base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model now costs Rs. 16,999, up from Rs. 15,999.
The 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB versions now retail at Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 20,999 respectively.
Oppo A6s Price Revision
The Oppo A6s has also become more expensive. The 4GB RAM + 128GB model now costs Rs. 21,999 instead of Rs. 20,999. The 6GB + 128GB variant has risen to Rs. 24,999 from its earlier price of Rs. 22,999.
These updated prices now appear on the official Oppo India website. The changes took effect from July 20.
Reasons Behind the Price Hike
Industry experts point to rising component costs and a global shortage of memory chips as the main causes. Oppo has not officially commented on the reasons for this revision.
Common Features Across Models
The Oppo K14, K14x, and A6s all run on the capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Each phone features a large 6.75-inch display and a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. They come with Android 15-based ColorOS 15 for a smooth user experience.
This sudden price increase may affect buyers who were planning to purchase these popular mid-range devices. Customers should check the latest prices before making a decision.
Oppo continues to strengthen its position in the competitive Indian smartphone market, but these changes could influence short-term demand for the affected models.
