BitMart Opens a Portal for Withdrawal and Restructuring Questions
BitMart has created a dedicated portal for user questions on withdrawals and future plans. Customers can file grievances through that formal channel while Alvarez & Marsal reviews the exchange’s position.
The company said the portal will collect comments on the withdrawal process, strategy, and next steps. BitMart, A&M, and the exchange’s legal team will consider those submissions as part of the review. The move comes a week after BitMart named A&M as financial adviser on September 9.
BitMart said the feedback portal would go live within five business days of the announcement. It also expected to share details of an action plan and consultation process within three weeks of September 9.
Users must choose “User Engagement Portal” when they submit. Other messages will be treated as ordinary customer-service requests and will not enter the review. An email address is required. Existing customers should use the address linked to their BitMart account. A BitMart ID is optional.
The form has four categories: withdrawal questions, general feedback, possible investment or restructuring proposals, and other queries. Users can add a title, a description, dates or transaction IDs, and attachments.
Sending the form does not finish the process. BitMart says users receive a verification email from support@bitmart.zendesk.com. The submission is complete only after they click the link.
Withdrawals have been a central concern since the exchange reduced trading in July. BitMart said it would shut trading services by August 26. It said business operations would end on January 31, 2027. Under that plan, the platform stopped new customers and deposits. Futures moved to reduce-only mode. Spot order books closed.
On August 21, BitMart said it was studying creditor distribution and a possible phased restart of some operations, according to crypto.news. White & Case was named restructuring counsel. That statement was not an approved restart. Any restart would depend on legal, financial, operational, and regulatory review. The company did not give creditor eligibility, payout percentages, or the size of funds available for distribution.
