Motorola Razr Flex 2027 Leaks Hint at First Wide Book-Style Foldable

Motorola is expected to expand its foldable smartphone lineup with the Razr Flex. The device has appeared in several recent leaks. Although the company has not confirmed a launch timeline, a fresh tip now points to a possible name. The rumoured phone is said to adopt a wider, book-style design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series and Google Pixel Fold. Moreover, it is tipped to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with 12GB of RAM.

Tipster Evan Blass shared on X that the upcoming foldable could be called the Motorola Razr Flex 2027. He posted a screenshot that appears to come from Motorola’s official website. However, the handset is not currently listed there. Earlier rumours simply referred to it as the Razr Flex. Previous leaks also suggested a possible December launch. The company has yet to confirm the official name or release date.

The Motorola Razr Flex 2027 is expected to feature a short and wide form factor. It could include a large 6.92-inch internal OLED folding display with a 165Hz refresh rate. A 4.97-inch cover display is also tipped. In addition, the phone may carry IP48 and IP49 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor is expected to pair with 12GB of RAM, and the device should run Android 17 out of the box.

A dual rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors is also rumoured. The handset could pack a 5,000mAh battery. Colour options are expected to include Dark Botanical Garden and Coriander.
