Vivo V80, S2 FE and X500 Pro Max Appear on India and Thailand Certifications
Three upcoming Vivo phones have shown up in regulatory databases in India and Thailand. The models are the Vivo X500 Pro Max, Vivo V80, and Vivo S2 FE. They appear under different model numbers. The listings confirm network support and regional certification status. Vivo has not confirmed launch dates or full availability.
The Tech Outlook reports that Vivo models V2640 and V2648 appeared on India’s BIS database. The filings do not use commercial names. V2648 is linked to the Vivo V80. V2640 has previously been tied to the Vivo S2 FE through a Bluetooth SIG listing.
The purported S2 FE is expected to join the S2 series in India. Vivo launched the S2 in August. Earlier reports said the company dropped an S2 Pro and may use the S2 FE instead.
The Vivo V80 has also appeared on Thailand’s NBTC database as V2648. That listing carries certificate number B38612-26. It confirms GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR support. The phone has also shown up on TÜV, IMDA, and SDPPI databases. The TÜV filing points to 90W wired charging. The IMDA listing confirms 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, and NFC.
Vivo has already teased the V80 on social media. Earlier reports claim a 6.59-inch display and a Zeiss telephoto camera. The 50-megapixel telephoto sensor is tipped to support 3x and 10x portrait shots. A 4K Cinematic Video mode may add background blur and colour grading. Suggested styles include Modern, Vibrant, and Pastel. The V80 is also tipped to cost more than Rs. 60,000 in India.
Thailand’s NBTC database reportedly lists the Vivo X500 Pro Max as V2610. That certificate number is B38613-26. The filing shows GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR support. The certification suggests a possible Thailand launch alongside other markets.
A global X500 Pro Max unit earlier appeared on Geekbench with a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. That processor is expected to debut soon. The phone has also surfaced on IMDA and SIRIM databases.
Vivo has separately shown the X500 Pro Max in silver and orange. Earlier images show a flat rear panel and a central circular camera module. The setup is a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera. The phone also supports a telephoto extender kit with a 400mm lens, a capture button, and a zoom control.
The Pro Max is scheduled to launch in China on September 21 at 7pm local time, or 4:30pm IST. The Vivo X500 and X500 Pro are due on the same day. Wider international dates remain unconfirmed.
