Xiaomi Showcases Xiaomi 18 Fold at IFA 2026
Xiaomi previewed its upcoming foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, at IFA 2026. The device will be the first to run on the company’s in-house XRING O3 chip. It features a triple rear camera and was shown in a red colour option. The foldable will launch in China on September 7, alongside the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max.
The brand also displayed 380 products and technologies across a 3,300-square-metre exhibition space. The showcase was divided into AI Tomorrow, AI Today, and Human × Car × Home sections. Highlights included the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo electric hypercar concept, the Xiaomi SU7 Max, and smart home innovations.
Xiaomi emphasized its Mijia smart home ecosystem, confirming expansion across Europe. The company also demonstrated its CyberOne humanoid robot and new AI models such as MiMo-V2.5-Pro, Miloco, and Miclaw, alongside its HyperOS platform.
In the automotive section, Xiaomi presented the Vision Gran Turismo concept and new-generation SU7 and SU7 Ultra. The company has already delivered more than 700,000 vehicles in China since 2024 and plans to enter European markets, including Germany, in 2027.
Xiaomi said global R&D investment will exceed EUR 24 billion between 2026 and 2030, covering AI, chips, smart vehicles, and robotics.
