Poco has launched the M8 Power in India. It joins the existing M8 model from earlier this year. The new phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor. It pairs this chipset with up to 8GB of RAM.
Additionally, the device features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also carries a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. Meanwhile, the phone houses an 8,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 16 out of the box.
Price and Availability The Poco M8 Power starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB option costs Rs. 27,999. However, launch offers reduce these prices. Customers can buy the base model for Rs. 21,999. The higher variant is available for Rs. 24,999. These discounts include a Rs. 1,000 coupon valid in the first 12 hours of sale. They also cover a bank offer or exchange bonus of Rs. 2,000.
The phone will go on sale from August 7. Buyers can purchase it through Flipkart and other retail stores. It comes in three colours: Black, Blaze Orange, and Green.

The dual-SIM Poco M8 Power runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Poco confirms four years of Android upgrades. It also promises six years of security updates.
Furthermore, the 6.83-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel delivers 2,396 x 1,080 resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling. Peak brightness reaches 1,800 nits. The display covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It carries TÜV Eye Protection certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Wet Touch 2.0 technology is also present. An in-display fingerprint sensor handles biometric unlocking.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset is built on a 4nm process. It works with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
On the camera front, the primary 50-megapixel sensor uses an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens. A secondary AI camera sits beside it. An 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 169.70 x 79.14 x 8.4 mm. It weighs 225 grams.
Finally, the 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 45W wired fast charging. It also offers 22.5W wired reverse charging.
