Nubia NaviX Ultra Specs Leak Ahead of AI Conference Debut
Fresh details on the Nubia NaviX Ultra have appeared online. The leaks surface just before the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2026. That event runs from July 17 to July 20 in Shanghai.
Nubia has already confirmed the phone’s name, design, and AI assistant. The latest information now points to strong hardware upgrades. These cover performance, battery life, display quality, and camera capabilities.
According to a tipster known as Bald Panda on Weibo, the NaviX Ultra will use a 6.78-inch flat display. The panel offers 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It features a centered hole-punch cutout. The bezels appear evenly sized and potentially the thinnest Nubia has used so far.
The phone is expected to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It pairs that processor with a large 7,100mAh battery. This capacity would rank among the highest available on current flagship phones.
Camera hardware reportedly includes three 50-megapixel sensors on the rear. These should handle standard, ultra-wide, and telephoto shots. A matching 50-megapixel front camera is expected to support selfies and video calls.
Nubia has designed the device around four core AI functions. These include natural language understanding, contextual memory, real-world task execution, and data protection. The phone relies on a system-level GUI Agent architecture. It can recognize on-screen information and interact with apps through MCP and A2A protocols. This approach avoids simple touch simulation.
As a result, the AI assistant should handle multi-app tasks from a single voice or text command. Nubia is preparing the phone for commercial release. However, the company has not yet shared an official launch date.
Official teasers already show key design elements. These include a pill-shaped rear camera island, a centered punch-hole display, and an orange side key. Confirmed color options are Black, Pink, Purple, and White. The handset will ship with the Doubao AI assistant
