Honor has launched reservations for its groundbreaking Robot Phone. Customers can now secure one ahead of the official August launch.
The company also revealed exciting hardware and AI details. These features position the device as one of Honor’s boldest projects yet.

You can reserve the phone through Honor’s official online stores in China. Offline reservations began earlier this week too.
Early birds enjoy fantastic perks. They receive a lifetime YOYO AI SVIP membership. Plus, they get a one-year gimbal replacement service and a full set of standard accessories. Customers can also choose up to 24 months of interest-free installments. Trade-in subsidies reach up to 2,000 Yuan, about $300. Meanwhile, offline buyers must pay a 1,000 Yuan deposit, roughly $150, to lock in priority benefits.
Honor first unveiled the Robot Phone at MWC 2026. It stands as the debut product in the company’s Alpha strategy. Unlike standard smartphones, this model hides a four-degree-of-freedom titanium alloy robotic gimbal inside its top section. The module pops out in just 0.8 seconds when you activate the camera.
Moreover, it delivers 360-degree tracking and smart camera movements. It also offers CIPA 5.5-level mechanical image stabilization for steady shots.
The camera system impresses with advanced specs. A 200-megapixel 4D gimbal main sensor comes with an f/1.6 aperture. It pairs with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. In addition, Honor teamed up with ARRI to add professional Log-C recording and custom LUT color profiles.
The phone will likely pack the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It features a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch 1.5K flat display with slim bezels on all sides. Users will enjoy fast 120W charging as well.
Furthermore, the device runs Honor’s on-device YOYO AI model. This system supports emotion recognition and proactive task handling. The movable camera module even acts as a physical expression tool during AI interactions.
