Garmin Launches New Forerunner Smartwatches in India
Garmin introduced three new smartwatches in India on Thursday. The lineup includes the Forerunner 70, Forerunner 170, and Forerunner 170 Music. These models target runners and fitness enthusiasts with advanced features and vibrant displays.
All three watches come with a bright 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen. The display offers 390×390 pixel resolution and supports an always-on mode. Moreover, they include Garmin’s Elevate heart rate monitor and a Pulse Ox sensor for blood oxygen tracking.
Battery Life and Pricing
The Forerunner 70 delivers impressive endurance. It offers up to 13 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. In contrast, the Forerunner 170 and Forerunner 170 Music provide up to 10 days in the same mode.

These smartwatches carry a 5 ATM water resistance rating. They support interchangeable 20mm bands with comfortable silicone straps. Additionally, they provide useful health insights such as sleep score, stress tracking, Body Battery energy monitoring, and Morning Report.
