Microsoft introduced a limited-edition Xbox Series X console and matching controller in June. The company created these devices to mark 25 years of the Xbox brand. Both items will launch in select markets in November. Microsoft has not yet shared official pricing or exact release dates.
A new report now offers possible details. Reliable leaker Billbil-kun shared the information in a Delabs report. He claimed the Xbox Series X25 limited-edition console will cost EUR 899.99 in Europe. The same console may carry a price of about 899.99 dollars in the United States.
The tipster also stated that the anniversary console will launch on November 27, 2027. No information has appeared yet about the start of pre-orders. The limited-edition model includes a disc drive. Its reported price sits 100 euros higher than the standard 1TB Xbox Series X disc edition in Europe. The regular console currently costs EUR 799.99 after a recent price increase.
Earlier this week, the same leaker revealed pricing for the special-edition Xbox wireless controller. The controller may cost EUR 79.99, GBP 74.99, 79.99 dollars or CAD 99.99. According to the tipster, the X25 controller will launch on October 20. Pre-orders could open at Gamescom 2026 on August 26.
Microsoft is expected to share official pricing and release details at the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany. The company may also confirm information for the full X25 console at the same show. Microsoft will attend Gamescom 2026 and present updates on several titles.
Both the console and controller feature a translucent green design. This look draws inspiration from the original Xbox. The limited-edition Series X25 console offers 1TB of storage and includes a disc drive. The pair will arrive together as a limited collection in November. The special controller will also go on sale separately.
